Alexa Lupi
Alexa is a biostatistics PhD student who has been a part of the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics since 2016, initially enrolling in the MS program. After completing her MS in Biostatistics, she joined the Quantgen Lab, which is led by Drs. de los Campos and Vazquez. Alexa's research interests are centered around quantitative genetics, computational statistics, epidemiology, and machine learning. She particularly enjoys programming and working with high dimensional data utilizing MSU's HPCC. Currently, Alexa is working on methods for cross-population polygenic risk scores.
