Madison Walsh is a PhD candidate in Epidemiology, currently under the mentorship of Dr. Kipling Bohnert. Madison previously worked with MI CARES, contributing to expanding addiction education for medical students throughout Michigan. She holds an MSc in Epidemiology from Michigan State University, where her thesis focused on the transition from alcohol initiation to dependence—a research area she continues to explore in her doctoral studies. In addition to her academic work, Madison is deeply committed to public health advocacy. Her work as a Legislative Ambassador highlights her commitment to advancing research and engaging with the community.
