Yinbo is a Ph.D. student in Biostatistics in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Michigan State University (MSU). He holds a BA degree in Actuarial Science; a BA degree in Economics; and a minor in Statistics from the University of Connecticut (UConn) in 2022, and an MS degree in Biostatistics from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor (UMich) in 2024. He also completed multiple internships as a Data Analytics intern at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) Lab in Boston under the supervision of Dr. Towia Libermann and with advising from Dr. Long Ngo. His primary research interests lie in statistical genetics, genomics, and machine learning, with broader interests in aging, high-dimensional data, and causal inference.
