Prudence is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Michigan State University. She obtained her Masters in Epidemiology from Michigan State University after which she worked as an Epidemiologist for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) before starting her Ph.D. She is interested in breast cancer research and is currently working in the Jiagge lab at Henry Ford Health. Her research goals include identifying markers in benign breast disease that are predictive for later malignancy. She is also interested in investigating risk factors associated with aggressive triple-negative breast cancer among African populations (kunyangn@msu.edu).
