Caroline Lane is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Michigan State University. She received her BA in English Literature from the University of Dallas and earned a Master of Public Health from Baylor University. Caroline’s research focuses on the epidemiology of infectious diseases, with a particular interest in zoonotic diseases and their affect on public health through a One Health approach. She is also dedicated to advancing emergency preparedness, aiming to improve public health responses to outbreaks and other emerging health threats.
