Matthew Myers

Matthew is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Michigan State University and works as a Research Assistant with Dr. Kipling Bohnert on a variety of substance-use related topics. Prior to joining the department in 2021, Matthew received his MPH from University of Texas Health, where he was a Population Health Scholar, and has worked as a Research Analyst with the University of Michigan Injury Prevention Center since 2018. Matthew’s current research focuses on understanding the range of factors that may influence adverse cannabis-use outcomes, with a specific interest on cannabis use disorder and driving under the influence.
