Eleanor is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Michigan State University (MSU) and has worked as a graduate research assistant with both Dr. Chen and Dr. Luo’s group since Spring 2020. Her research interests include causal inference, time-varying exposures and confounders, semiparametric modeling, environmental and prodromal risk factors for Parkinson’s disease, and social-environmental determinants of birth outcomes. Eleanor holds an MS degree in Biostatistics from MSU, an MMed degree in Ophthalmology from Guangzhou Medical University, China, a BMedSc degree in Medical Technology (Optometry) from Sichuan University, China, and has years of experience working as an ophthalmic technician in hospitals in China.
