What inspired your interest in pursuing your degree?
My interest in pursuing this degree was inspired by my desire to use mathematics and statistics to answer important questions in health and medicine.
Why did you choose to study at MSU?
I decided to study at MSU because of its academic excellence and strong rigorous training, collaborative research opportunities and the faculty expertise in areas like causal inference, missing data, survival analysis, and genomics.
What has been one of your best experiences within graduate school so far?
Meeting different graduate students from different parts of the world and studying all summer with my colleagues for the comprehensive exams.
What do you want others to know about this program?
The program offers concrete statistical theory and practice, mentorship, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
What are some of the best things about being an MSU/Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics student?
Everyone is very welcoming and willing to assist.

Complete my PhD by the grace of God and work as a biostatistician.
