Alexandra Beck

Alexandra Beck is a Freshman pursuing majors in Biochemistry and Neuroscience with minors in Pharmacology and Toxicology as well as Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Through the Professorial Assistantship program, she has joined Dr. Anthony to research Epidemiology and Biostatistics.

Alexandra is currently exploring potential career paths so she finds the interdisciplinary approaches of Epidemiology study fascinating. Currently, she is researching the differences between male and female alcohol dependence levels in teens and young adults. Alexandra’s research goals include studying underserved minority cohorts in order to contribute holistically to the health fields which she is pursuing.
