How the Anthony Award has contributed to the career of a previous winner

My name is Dr. Jill Rabinowitz and I am currently an assistant research scientist professor at Johns Hopkins in the Department of Mental Health in the Bloomberg School of Public Health. My research focuses on examining genetic and environmental contributors to substance use behaviors using a developmental framework. I am currently pursuing some work focused on investigating polygenic influences that predict substance use disorder treatment response. I received the Anthony Award prize as a postdoctoral fellow. This award was instrumental to my professional growth and enabled me to attend conferences and form collaborations with other academics and researchers that would have otherwise not been possible. I am grateful for the Anthony award and can say confidently that the Anthony Award contributed to my career development.
