Margerison Research Group
Our research focuses on identifying determinants of inequities in women’s health, particularly in and around the pregnancy period.
Current research projects include 1) assessing the impacts of health and social policies (e.g., Affordable Care Act, Child Tax Credits through the American Rescue Plan Act) on preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum health, and 2) research on pregnancy-associated mortality and morbidity due to drugs, self-harm, and violence.
