PhD graduate accepts position at the CDC

Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics graduate, Cristin McCardle recently accepted a position as the Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer (or EIS Officer) at the CDC. She will be assigned to the National Center for Environmental Health based in Atlanta, Georgia. 

In 2019 Cristin graduated with a PhD in Epidemiology and credits the training and faculty involvement she received from our department.

"This is wild! I am so excited. I just could never have done this without your support and guidance. Thank you so much. I can't wait to represent MSU, the department and all of the incredible training I received. You seriously made all of this possible, with your profound patience and careful instruction. I am forever lucky to have had you as an advisor. Thank you so much!"
