R36 Award for PhD Candidate

Alyssa Vanderziel, MS, a PhD candidate in the Department of Epidemiology & Biostatistics and Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Family Medicine, was awarded an R36 from the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health. The R36 award is to support Alyssa’s research project titled, “Cannabis Legalization and Use During Pregnancy: A Michigan Study.”

This prestigious award will provide her with one year of funding for completion of her dissertation.
