GEMS students help with blood drive

An MSU Blood Drive was organized by our own GEMS students (Graduate Epidemiologists and Biostatisticians at Michigan State, in collaboration with the Red Cross.  

Alyssa Vanderziel, co-president of GEMS and a Ph.D. student in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at MSU’s College of Human Medicine said, “As epidemiology and biostatistics students, we’re training to be future public health professionals, so there is no better time to lead than during a pandemic.”
